Priv.-Doz. Dr. Mittermayr, MBA is next to the surgical and conservative traumatology in charge of the patients referred to the shockwave office in the UKH Meidling. In 2012 he was elected President of the international society for medical shockwave treatment. Beside his clinical work he is chief of soft tissue regeneration at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for experimental and clinical traumatology.
